The non-profit organization Spirit of Christmas would like to inform the public about the SOC meetings and announce the availability of applications for Chippewa County residents who may be a family in need.
First announcement is from the SOC brochure:
The Spirit of Christmas of Chippewa County meetings are at 6:30 PM on October 13th, November 10th, December 1st, 2015 and January 12th, 2016.
Meetings site is the Chippewa Falls Public Library, 105 W.Central St., Chippewa Falls, WI. The meetings are open to the public and everyone is invited to the meeting to learn about volunteering and membership in the SOC.

Applications for the Spirit of Christmas are now available for pick up at the locations listed below. The Spirit of Christmas focuses on Chippewa County residents who are in need of gifts for children 0 through 17 years of age during the holiday season.

Applications are to be completed for children 0 through 17 years of age. Requests are for gifts only. Applicants not falling in the aforementioned age group will be considered if donations allow.
