ECCT PRESENTS “NUMBER THE STARS”
Eau Claire, WI – The Eau Claire Children’s Theatre will present NUMBER THE STARS January 8 & 9 at The Oxford, 1814 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire.
It’s 1943, and Denmark is occupied by the Germans. Ten-year-old Annemarie Johansen faces soldiers, interrogations, the loss of loved ones, and her own fears as she tries to help her friend Ellen Rosen escape across the ocean to Sweden and safety. The Newbery Award-winning book by Lois Lowry (author of The Giver) comes alive in this powerful stage adaptation.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, January 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, January 9 at 1:30 p.m. Reserved seating tickets are $14 for adults and seniors, and $8 for youth and students ages 12 and under.
