Freebee the Grebe is a children’s book written by Karen Wise and illustrated by Mary Gladitsch. Grebes are large black and white birds that live along the Pacific Coast and spend most of their time in the water. In this book, Freebee sets off on an adventure to find out how storms are made and meets some unusual characters along the way. Books will be available for sale and some of the original watercolor illustrations will be on display. No cost for admission to the book reading and display.
