Ladies, happy fall. It’s officially here, and we are in full swing. This issue is so beautiful and brave, and I am so excited to share with all of you.
Our Courageous Women issue is beyond what I could have expected. I am blown away by the extraordinary, courageous stories each of these women has chosen to share. I had to read the above quote about 50 times, to grasp its magnitude. So much simple truth from my new best friend, Brene Brown! Brave women share their stories in this incredible issue; they choose courage over comfort every day.
Sheepishly, I called and asked each woman if they would be willing to share their stories. I discovered their willingness to show up and to face unimaginable pain for the sake of helping others. They all agreed to share their stories without hesitation. The shared sentiment of these lovely ladies was willingness to dig deep and relive portions of what they have been through in hopes that perhaps one other person will be helped, saved, or encouraged by their story.
They didn’t have to share. That probably would have been more comfortable. It takes profound courage to share your truth. I am so proud to call these ladies my friends. Their amazing journeys are going to leave an impact on all of us.
My wonderful supportive readers, if you see these beautiful mamas out and about, please reach out and say, “thank you.” Perhaps lift them in prayer and friendship, as they are still navigating some very rough waters.
Fall will turn to winter soon; the days are becoming shorter; once again, the seasons change. My hope for all of us is to find a way to choose courage over comfort. Let’s look for ways to lean into all the good things in our lives.
The journey continues in faith, family, friends, fitness, and finance.
