5:30 – 7:30 PM
The Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts announces auditions for TEN NOVEMBER, directed by Amy Reise, with music direction by Dr. Mark Pruett.
TEN NOVEMBER, by Steven Dietz, music by Eric Bain Peltoniemi, is a dramatic musical about the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald, which sank during a storm in Lake Superior in 1975, taking with it 29 men. Inspired by the Gordon Lightfoot song “The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald,” this docudrama is a compelling inquiry into the unanswered questions about that tragedy. TEN NOVEMBER will run November 10, 14-16 at the Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts. We are casting nine male actors ages 20s-60s. These are non-singing roles. The female singers have already been cast.
Auditions for TEN NOVEMBER will be held Tuesday, September 2 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at the Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts. Please call 715-235-0001, ext. 102 for a five minute audition slot. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
For further information, contact Amy Reise at 715-235-0001, ext. 102 or areise@mabeltainter.org.
